The EDGE-sense-r

The EDGE-sense-r is a simple no programming robot that can stop itself from falling off an edge. It will move forward until it fails to detect a surface underneath the robot. Tuning the Threshold will help it ignore "safety hands" that might be waiting to catch a wayward robot! *Works best on lightly colored surfaces.
