ParticipantGood timing. We just put some individual Cubelets up for sale:
https://archive.modrobotics.com/individual-cubeletsWe’ve finally been able to scale up our little production line. This is the first time we’ve ever offered Cubelets without a long pre-order!

ParticipantLooks like July 23th passed as well as August 10th.
Any new suggestions for shipment of KT01 made in January?August 15, 2012 at 2:30 pm #538Emily Plage
ParticipantHey Mark, I posted this a few days ago under the “When do the larger sets start shipping?” topic but i’ll re-post it here again to answer your question.
The estimated ship date pertains to our pre-ordered KT01 Kits. We will begin shipping KT01 kits in the order in which they were received. That being said, once we get going we will be able to move through the list of pre-ordered KT01 kits pretty quickly. We have been revising a few components of our drive and rotate Cubelets to make sure that when our KT01 kits do go out, they will be up to snuff and ready to give you the best interactive experience possible. We have been waiting on one final revised component for the rotate cube to come in (estimated arrival tomorrow!) and then it will take us only a few short days of assembly and testing to start getting the first kits out the door as the other 19 cubes in the kits are finished and ready to rock.
We totally understand the frustration with estimated shipping dates and really appreciate your patience as we learn from mistakes and grow as a company. We have been working hard to get KT01 kits out the door ASAP, but we also want to make sure that the revisions that we’ve made to improve our overall product fully address any problems we’ve seen in our beta run. I know we’ve changed the estimated ship date a lot, but I can assure you that each date has been a representation of what we thought was realistically attainable given the information about product quality and overseas shipping dates we were given.
Thanks for your patience!!
