Programming with MOSS Scratch
Using the MOSS Double Brain block, you can program your robot creations with the easy to learn visual programming language Scratch. Scratch was developed to help children learn to code by the smart guys and gals at MIT.
MOSS Scratch lets you drag and drop visual blocks of code that you can send to the Double Brain. The Double Brain takes this code and communicates it to the rest of the parts, sort of like a little robot command center. Program the Motors to move when the Proximity Sensor is detects an object, or program your robot to activate by clapping near the Microphone block.
- Start by downloading the Scratch 2 Offline Editor.
- Next, download the MOSS Scratch Launcher for Windows PC or MacOSX and pair with your Double Brain block.
- Great! You’re ready to get started with our MOSS Scratch Tutorial and be sure check out our cool MOSS programming examples!
Looking for a more traditional programming environment? You can program your MOSS Double Brain block in C with MOSS Flash.
